Gay cookery
Gay people have long been known as a minority with a lot of know how-how to act, throw a party, cook, etc. We have often been defined as a group with a certain class, eian-a sense of what is right.
I want to capitalize on that know how-that touch of class-by putting together a Gay CookParty Book with contributions from the whole community. The sections cover Ethnic foods, dinner recipes, how to plan a brunch, midnight goodies for two, breakfast the morning after, quick munchies when needed, parties, and a section on
cooking-how to deal with foods, shopping, etc.
Publication will be by the GEAR Foundation and profits will be for the foundation.
Credit can be given to those whose favorite recipes and tips appear. (One of my current favorites is Chicken Earle served over Rice Priebe.)
Free copies will be awarded those whose contributions are judged most original, easiest to comprehend and follow through on, most appealing, and one judge's choice.
Help us help each other-get your contributions in as soon as you can-deadline is July.
